Banipal 48 – Narrating Marrakech front coverIn launching Banipal 48 – Narrating Marrakech we invite you to  enjoy and revel in writings from inside Marrakech, Morocco’s Red City at the foot of the Atlas mountains. This holiday destination for thousands upon thousands of western tourists takes on another life through the writings of poets and authors from Marrakech – Yassin Adnan, Saad Sarhan, the painter novelist Mahi Binebine, Abu-Youssef Taha, Rajae Benchemsi, Mohamed Nedali and Taha Adnan, plus long-time resident of Marrakech, the internationally renowned Spanish author Juan Goytisolo, and others. They open up the inside story of Marrakech, and request your attendance at this singular literary celebration of the Red City.
