The Sheikh Hamad Award for Translation and International Understanding (SHATIU)

is accepting nominations for the year 2017

Translations from and into Arabic this year include from and into English, French, Chinese, Japanese, Malay, Persian (Farsi) and Urdu

Nominations are accepted in the following two European language categories:

Translation from Arabic into English (200,000 USD)

Translation from English into Arabic (200,000 USD)

Translation from Arabic into French (200,000 USD)

Translation from French into Arabic (200,000 USD)

Achievement Award (200,000 USD)

SHATIU is also accepting nominations for achievement awards in translation from and into the following Eastern languages:
