Translation Prizes 2020
Winner Announcements
Join us as we celebrate the winners of the 2020 Translation Prizes
with a series of short online videos
We’re taking this year’s Translation Prizes online with six short films celebrating each prize from 10am to 1pm. With a total prize fund worth £13,000, the online ceremony will showcase the winning translators and editors, with translations into English from Italian, Spanish, German, French, Turkish, Hungarian and Arabic.
The announcements will be made in the following order:

11:00 – The Premio Valle Inclán Prize

11:30 – The Saif Ghobash Banipal Prize

12:00 – The Schlegel-Tiek Prize

12:30 – The Scott Moncrieff Prize
