Katja Perat
was born in 1988 in Ljubljana. She is presently studying for a BA in the Departments of Philosophy and Comparative Literature at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. Since 2007, her poetry has appeared in the literary magazine Literatura and in Dignimo pero/Dvignimo pero, a bilingual collection of prose and poetry by young writers from Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. She also writes for Literatura and the bi-weekly cultural newspaper Pogledi.
