Amir Tag Elsir
is a Sudanese author born in northern Sudan in 1960. He has published 14 novels (his first in 1988), biographies and poetry. Three novels are being published in English, French and Italian. The Larvae Hunter was shortlisted for the 2011 IPAF. He lives in Doha, Qatar, and practises gynaecology.
