Mohammed Shaheen
is Jordanian, and the Vice-President of Mu'tah University, Jordan. He has a PhD in English Literature from Cambridge University, and teaches literary criticism, C20th English and Comparative Literature. He has published many papers and articles, in English and Arabic, among them a study of T S Eliot and his impact on modern Arabic poetry.
