Ali al-Kasimi
is an Iraqi author and academic who lives in Morocco. He has a PhD in Philosophy. He has authored 50 books in Arabic and in English, among them bilingual dictionaries, works on linguistics and translation theory, plus three collections of short stories. In 2002 his translation of Hemingway’s A Moveable Feast was published, and in 2003 his selection of Best American Short Stories.
