Yahya al-Qaissi
was born in Hartha, Jordan. He studied English at Philadelphia University, Jordan, and worked as a journalist in Tunisia. He published two collections of short stories in 1990 and 1997. He is an editorial committee member of the Jordanian Ministry of Culture’s literary magazine Afkar [Ideas].
