Faraj Bou al-Isha
was born in Libya in 1956. He worked as a primary school teacher, later a journalist and writer. He published his first collection of poetry in 1987, then two in Cyprus (1992 and 1993). He lives in Germany as a political refugee, and writes for the Arab newspaper Al-Sharq al-Awsat.
