Sherif Saleh is an Egyptian writer and journalist living in Kuwait, with a PhD in theatre criticism.
His first story collection is Isbi‘a Yemshi li Wahdih (2007, A Finger Walking on its Own). His latest, Mudun Ta’kul Nafsaha (2019, Cities Eat Themselves), was shortlisted for the 2019 Almultaqa Prize.
His collection Mothaleth al-Ishq (Love Triangle) won the Sawiris Award for the Short Story in 2001.
He also has two novels and several books on theatre, cinema and art criticism.
