Fadhil Chalabi
Fadhil Chalabi was born in Baghdad in 1929. He was an oil economist, serving in the Iraqi oil Ministry. He was Acting Secretary General of OPEC 1983–1988, and then Executive Director of the Centre for Global Energy Studies 1987–2011 until his retirement.
