Mbarek Sryfi is a Moroccan poet and a lecturer in Arabic language at the University of Pennsylvania, where he is also pursuing a PhD in Arabic Literature and Islamic Studies.
He has a first degree in English Literature from the University of Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah in Fez, Morocco, and an MA from the École Normale Supérieure in Rabat.
He has been a visiting professor at Al-Akhawayn University, Ifrane, Morocco.
