Antonia Baum was born in 1984 in Borken. She has an MA in Literary Studies and History from Berlin’s University of the Arts (www.udk-berlin.de). She has published short stories in the weekly newspaper Freitag and online. She was one the authors in the Ingeborg-Bachmann Competition, 2011. Vollkommen leblos, bestenfalls tot (Completely Lifeless, Preferably Dead) is her first novel.
