Basema
Younis obtained a BA in Education and English Language
from the Emirates University, Al Ain in 1986, and a BA in Law from Beirut Arabic
University in 1983.
Since 1987 she has
published several collections of short stories and two novels, and a play. She
has won a number of Emirati literary awards.
