was born in Jeddah in 1965. He graduated in political science from King Abdullah Aziz University in 1988, and presented arts programmes for Saudi Arabian radio from 1985 to 1991. Since 1984 he has published his poems in several literary and arts magazines in Saudi Arabia and the Arab world, and has one collection to his name.
