Primoz Cucnik
born in Ljubljana in 1971, studied philosophy and sociology of culture at the University of Ljubljana. He has eight collections of poetry, the first (1999) winning the Best First Collection Award. He translates contemporary Polish and American poetry (Frank O’Hara, Elizabeth Bishop and John Ashbery), is an editor of Literatura, and runs the small press Sherpa.
