Sophia Vasalou
Sophia Vasalou studied Arabic in London and has a PhD in classical Islamic theology. She has taught philosophy and other subjects in the European College of Liberal Arts in Berlin. She is currently a junior research fellow at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, and is the author of Moral Agents and their Deserts: The Character of Mu'tazilite Ethics (2008).
