Karen McNeil is an Arabic-to-English translator and has an MA in Arabic from Georgetown University, with a specialty in Tunisian Arabic and Arabic linguistics. She was lead revising editor of the Oxford Arabic Dictionary (2014), and has translated Arabic poetry and short stories for World Literature Today, Banipal, and al-Jadid. She is the co-creator of the Tunisian Arabic Corpus, tunisiya.org.
