Shaker Noori (Nouri)
Shaker Noori (Shakir Nouri) was born in Jaloula, Diyala, Iraq. He has a BA in English (Baghdad University, 1972) and taught there for four years, before leaving in 1979 for France. He has published five novels. After 27 years living and working as a journalist in Paris he is currently continuing his profession in Dubai.
