Victor Schiferli
Born in Haarlem, 1967, in the Netherlands, Victor Schiferli is a poet, freelance journalist and editor. His first collection was published in 2000. His third, Toespraak in een struik [A Speech in the Bushes], 2008, was shortlisted for the Hugues C. Pernath Prize. He co-edited the literary guidebook City-Pick: Amsterdam (Oxygen Books, UK, 2010), and is the poetry reviewer for the daily newspaper Het Parool.
