was born in Palestine in 1974. She has studied journalism and communication and is currently working on a PhD in London. She has published her short stories in Arabic and in translation in literary magazines and online. She has two novels – Masas (also published in French translation) and We Are All Equally Far From Love, the latter excerpted in Banipal 34 and to be published in the USA late 2009. She has twice won the A.M. Qattan Foundation’s annual Young Writer's Award.
