was born in Irbid, Jordan, in 1968. He has four collections of short stories, 1 novel, 1 children’s novel, 2 books of literary criticism. He has been translated into Chinese, French and English. In 2002, he won the Prize of Amman, UNESCO City of Culture 2002. He has a regular radio programme “Books and Authors”. He lives in Amman.
