Ulla Kasten
was born in Denmark in 1945. She studied in Greece and Turkey. Since 1972 she has lived in the USA where she is Associate Curator of the Yale Babylonian Collection. She spends her summers excavating in Syria. She is the editor and translator of books on archaeology and Assyriology.
