Nasser al-Dhaheri is an award-winning author, journalist and photographer, with three collections of short stories and a novel. He co-edited a two-volume anthology of short stories from the Gulf, and is presently chief executive editor of the magazines Fairuz, Al-Idari and Faris, and publisher and editor of Hudhud, an electronic newspaper in Arabic, English, French and Spanish. He was born in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi in 1960.
