was born in Morocco. He holds an MA in Translation and Linguistics from the University of Bath, UK, and a PhD in comparative literature and translation studies from SUNY-Binghamton, NY (USA). He taught translation and translation theory at King Fahd Advanced School of Translation, Tangiers, Morocco before his recent retirement. He is a regular translator for Banipal.
