Ghalya Al-Said
is a poet and writer from Oman, living and working in London. She has a PhD in International Relations from Warwick University. She writes poetry in both English and Arabic, and has published four novels in Arabic. Her debut novel Ayam fil Jena (Days of Heaven, 2005) was excerpted in Banipal 51 in 2014, and can be read here.
