Mohammad Khodayyir
was born in Basra, Iraq, in 1942 where he still lives. He worked in the teaching profession. Between 1972 and 1998 he published a novel, Basriyatha (1996), and four collections of short stories, with one translated into French Le Royaume Noir (2000).
