was born in al-Mudhayrib, Oman, in 1962. He has a degree in Geology and Marine Sciences. His first poetry collection came out in 1992, and since then three more. He writes on travel in Arab newspapers, and his book Ain wa Janah [Eye and Wing] will be published in Abu Dhabi, late 2004.
