Mahmoud Abu Hashhash
was born in the al-Fawar refugee camp, Hebron, in 1971. He has a degree in English language and literature from Birzeit University. In 1999 he published poems in an anthology, Poets from Palestine, and in 2001 his first collection, Waja’a al-Zujaj [Pain of the Glass]. He lives and works in Ramallah.
