Julia Ihnatowicz was born in London, where she is currently working as a freelance translator of Arabic. She studied literature at Warwick University, prior to living and working in the Middle East over several years. She has subsequently completed an MA in translation at SOAS and worked on projects ranging from the commercial to the creative.
