Khaled al-Karaki
was born in al-Adnaniya in 1946. He is a critic and scholar, graduated in Arabic Literature and has a PhD in Philosophy from Cambridge University, UK. He was Jordan’s Minister of Culture, then Minister of Information. He has published over ten books of literary criticism and essays and is a member of many international and Arab cultural organisations.
