Chip Rossetti has translated several works of Arabic fiction, including Beirut, Beirut by Sonallah Ibrahim, Utopia by Ahmed Khaled Towfik, and the graphic novel Metro by Magdy El Shafee. He is Editorial Director of the Library of Arabic Literature book series at NYU Press. He has a doctorate in Arabic literature from the University of Pennsylvania.
