Jamila Omairah
Jamila Omairah was born in Zay, Al-Salt, Jordan, in 1964. She graduated in English Literature from the University of Philadelphia in Jordan in 2003.
She worked in the Publications Department of the Ministry of Education until 2001.
She has published one novel and six collections of short stories, the first in 1993 entitled The White Scream, and the last, My Name is Suleimani, in 2019, the title story of which is published online in the onine selections of Banipal 75.
