Hussein Habasch
is a Syrian poet of Kurdish origin, living in Bonn, Germany. He has published five collections of poetry in Arabic. Selections of his poetry have been translated into English, German, Spanish, French, Turkish, Persian and Uzbek. He writes in both Arabic and Kurdish.
