Marilyn Booth
is a well-known translator of contemporary Arabic fiction, and director of the Centre for South Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, and associate professor in the Programs in Comparative and World Literature and Gender and Women’s Studies, at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
