Yahya al-Sheikh
Yahya Al-Sheikh is an Iraqi-Norwegian artist, born in Qalat Salih, Iraq, in 1945. He has a BA (Baghdad 1966), an MA (Ljubljana 1970), and a PhD (Moscow 1984). He has worked as a designer, illustrator and professor of fine art since 1970, and has works in both private and public collections worldwide. He has received numerous awards, and has held solo exhibitions in many capital cities.
