Do join us for a pre-holiday discussion at the next book club meeting!

We are suggesting a new and different topic for the evening!

Instead of having a discussion about one book, we invite you to look at and discuss all 29 entries for the 2015 Saif Ghobash Banipal Prize for Arabic Literary Translation.

With 26 novels and 3 poetry collections in the running, this may be an impossible task in a couple of hours, but many have been reviewed in the media and online, and 27 of the entries are already in the BALMAL Library (please, find details below). The winner will be announced mid-January next year, with the award ceremony in February 2016.
