, an American writer, has been publishing since 1985. In the late 1980s, his mentor was the legendary Beat poet Allen Ginsberg. American Drone demands that readers pause, reflect and meditate, offering alternatives to destruction and celebrating openness across all barriers. With Sinan Antoon, he co-translated Saadi Youssef’s poems in Nostalgia, My Enemy. He is co-founder and founder of the journals Writers’ Bloc, Lame Duck, Across Borders, and is director of Harbor Mountain Press, publishing, among others, writers from Cambodia, Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Iraq, Spain and the UK.
